“Every child has potential. We just help them find it.”
Master Erik Morrissette brings over 30 years of elite martial arts training and more than 50 years of combined teaching experience to every class. A proud student of Grandmaster Jun Chong, Erik began his journey at age 7 and earned his first black belt at just 12 years old.
He competed in over 300 national tournaments, earning more than 250 medals and trophies in sparring, forms, and weapons—including four consecutive World Martial Arts Championship titles with the Men’s Team Black Belt Division from 1995 to 1998.
Known for explosive power and remarkable speed, he brings that same energy and precision into the studio—while maintaining the patient, respectful demeanor that keeps students of all ages engaged and progressing.
Students ages 3 through adult benefit from training with Master Morrissette. Children respond extremely well to his gentle, respectful demeanor, quickly learning discipline and respect alongside martial arts skills of the highest caliber.
From young children taking their first steps in martial arts to adults seeking private instruction, his approach is rooted in encouragement, discipline, and genuine commitment to each student’s growth.
He doesn’t believe in one-size-fits-all instruction. He adjusts his approach to each student while maintaining the high standards that produce real results—whether your child is shy or outgoing, a complete beginner or transferring from another school.
The environment is supportive and encouraging. While the training can be invigorating and intense, students leave each session with renewed satisfaction, confidence, and commitment.
